Whenever I'm looking up transactions, a large percentage show their location as being off the coast of west Africa, in the Gulf of Guinea. I know that it just means the server which first relayed this was located there... but is there some special operation or server there which is becoming some sort of centralized node?

Any ideas?

Example:

Lat 0 Lon 0. Probably just means they don't have location data.

this is just an empty data entry. they should finally catch that and don't display this silly map in that case.

i can even sell them a spare if(...) { ... } clause for their java backend, just 0.99 BTC today.

It's a subliminal message for the rest of the world showing that out of nothing, something of great magnitude has emerged. That, and it keeps the the old-world pirates--those without internet access--hunting for Bitcoin's Holy Gail: The Genesis Block. In the US, we've dubbed such a quasi-sport snipe hunting.

All that transactions are from 127.0.0.1, localhost, right?  I think that these transactions are from blockchain.info/wallet.

This blood stained bill on his chest...

In the real picture of Pirateat40, he will be lit up like a candle after few happy frames?
