I'll try messing around with the recovery process again. But I'm fairly certain that it's dead. Which isn't surprising since the seller did a terrible job packing it. The top piece of cardboard packing material that it ships with was missing and I'm sure that it took more than a few good smacks on the top of the box.
I contacted the seller explaining the situation and providing an opportunity to assist before I request a refund. Hopefully they know something I don't. Otherwise, I'm sending this junk back.
I miss being able to buy from SP-Tech directly.
That is sad they come in one of the best packaging boxes of anyone when they were new. It's cardboard that surrounds miner, and gives it a little give if there is a bump.
The hard part is if you open it to check if something is loose seller will probey use that against you to try not to give refund. So I cant think of good way to check connections inside if it does not work. I don't want to make you lose a dispute because I suggest to open.
