Good Night my Friends

Does somebody knows if i can connect this fan (Sanyo-Denki-San-Ace-120) as a secondary fan for the s5 antminer??

And if so, could i have a problem due to the amperage consumption in the controller board??

Here it is the link of this fan on ebay:

Thanks a lot for help Wink.

The 3 Amps might be a problem the controller on the S5 cant turn it the rest will be fine if the controller turns it , i know with one of the delta fans you need external power to power it. if you want to use it with the  S5 I think  it's at 3 amps id have to go look at that fan. just looked at the fan  its at 3.9 amps so I'm not sure with your fan if it will or won't . IF you just want to add a second fan to the stock fan that's even more noise + you won't need but one fan if you stick with the stock fan .

I have not used it on the S5.  I can say it works on the S4.   Only thing was it had a little bump to allow it to nicely fit on 3 pin adapters.

I didn't like it pushing the white adapter back so I filed that little bump off in middle.  After that it fit flush with white adapter.

if the fan is 3.9 Am forget it, because the S5 controller can not handle the fan, I tfc1212de delta, and are set aside because they need an external controller to use them Cry

And you can power a 3-4 pin fan directly from your PSU using special adaptor.
