Does anyone here use Interactive Brokers?

You can trade XBT Provider there - and of course stocks, commodities, etc. - it might be an interesting option, but I'm a bit confused by their fee structure.

isn't this like 1broker? they should be the same thing, but the former is more fast in registration, and there isn't all the inconvenience of putting your home address city, and your postal code...

Last time I checked 1Broker was not a registered company. I'm not going to take the risk of getting in legal trouble and potentially lose my deposits and earnings. And they are not trading XBT Provider either. Maybe you could do arbitrage between XBT Provider and GBTC or COIN (when they are ready) on Interactive Brokers

registered or not they could always run away with your money with the excuse of "our platform suffered from an hacker attack, and we lost xx coins"

there were also numerous HYIP that were registered like bitcoin-income, but they have proved to be scammers in the end

I don't think IB and 1broker are in the same league at all. I was going to use IB when I first set up my stocks account, but at the time, I was not willing to deposit the minimum $25k. It seems they have lowered that minimum more recently. Their fees aren't too bad depending on location.

If you do not do many trades and you have a couple weeks/months where you aren't making any transactions (b&h) then interactive brokers will charge you a flat fee for that period of time.

To sum it up it means that if your commissions paid to interactive brokers will not surpass $10 a monthly, they'll charge you $10.(to avoid this you would have to keep an equity balance of $100.000 with them)
