Knowing how many customers that are verified and buying could show how big the Bitcoin-purchasing userbase is and how fast its growing, which would really help in many forms of speculation.

Is there any accurate information on the Bitcoin-purchasing population as of now? How much the average person buys? How many new registered and buying users of Mt. Gox there are per month, etc?
