Kind of and odd day today, it's got that "the end is near" feeling.

So I took a picture:

That was an hour ago, the sky is now glowing orange and all the street lights are still on.

What shade of orange? I have a theory. Did some clouds seem to suck other clouds dry, then the suck-clouds disappeared leaving the dried-out clouds looking for closure?

This feeling really sucks . You feel like you have been left alone and no one is around you to let you dont feel what you were feeling at that moment . But the truth as far as is predictable is , the world is not going to end very soon . Even sun has an age of millions of billions of years . Till then we are supposed to be active !

Turns out there's forest fires adjacent to the city and the smoke is causing these effects.

The smoke is so thick it's like fog.
