It works just fine with me, on multiple PCs. Maybe you have installed some browser extensions or similar?

The site is not a scam, if you ignore the obvious problem with support ticket system and similar.
I just logged in without any issue, trade and withdraw also. The site is working just fine, the problem is on your end.

You could try to change your IP, and try again, it's possible you IP was blacklisted for some reason, you can check this using VPN.

I would like to direct your attention to this:

https://btc-e.com/news/213
https://btc-e.com/profile#security/ip_whitelist

"Note! If you add at least one IP-address to the white list of IP addresses, you won’t be able to access your account from other IP addresses that are not included in this list."

Did you touch whitelist settings?
If you did not, and you still face the same issue, there's a good possibility that your account was compromised.

Whatever the case turns out to be, contact their support via their support system and explain your problems : https://support.btc-e.com/
Bad news for you is also that their support isn't their brightest point.

cheers and let us know progress you made

uhh, calling scam site, when you can't login and other can is quite tricky, isn't it OP?Smiley

anyway, I just logged in and all seems fine, so follow their support instructions and create ticket.

pro tip: try to delete cache of browser/cookies or try to login from different browser/different laptop you trust.

BTC-E has a fairly poor reputation within the Bitcoin community. There is proof of the site freezing a user's funds at the request of a third party at least once. Regardless of if the site steals from you or not, I would advise against keeping any large sum of BTC within the site.

OK, so if you are on dynamic IP like me, that means they couldn't have blacklisted you, since the next day you would be able to log-in again.
That leaves whitelisting, so: did you edit the security settings for your account under table in this section; https://btc-e.com/profile#security/ip_whitelist ?

Weather you did or did not, their support is the only one who can help you, because either you changed those settings yourself, or someone got to your account and locked you out.
Contact https://support.btc-e.com/ ASAP!

It's an error that several people had it seams(https://www.google.com/search?q=btc-e+server+error&oq=btc-e+server+error&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i61l2.3063j0j7&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8)
You can try to login in incognito mode, if it's cookie related, but i doubt it.

I can not help you further, since there's nothing else that can be done from user side, you must contact their support.
afaik, if you didn't receive any confirmation mails about withdrawals, and have 2fa enabled, your funds should be there.

The thing i'm 100% certain about here is that btc-e is not scam, i'm there for many years, and they helped me in many cases where they could have just ignored me and take quite a sum.

cheers mate

I can't believe it was all due to cookies, but what do you know, it worked Smiley
Just clear cache and cookies from your chrome browser, and try again, it should work in normal mode then also.

As soon as you get it working normally, you should post the changes you made to make it work, change the title of this thread to include "solved",or somehting like that, and lock it to avoid confusion and spam.
