The same technical difficulties as the last time but a cool hangout overall with about 6 people.

Asked really tough questions from Zebpay   and more to come in the future hangouts.

In india there is small initiation for bitcoin but Zebpay is doing well , i previously joined a conference with btcxindia and got to know about zebpay by people attending seminar (banglore).
i JUST missed out the hangout !

The issue is after start of hangout to resolve tech issues we taken it off air and after that we realized we can not get it back on air now. We know we messed but I am sure we will be able to handle it better next time.

In fact, I could not join the one hosted by Skang in spite of having an invite from him. I think, Hangout has a problem when it is broadcasted on youtube. Today also, initially no one could hear me. When Sandeep brought it down to off-air then things became much clear.

1. Only 10 people can hangout at max.
2. The person hosting the hangout needs more bandwidth since they are uploading data to youtube as well.
3. Only the host gets the control panel so must level the volume for various participants accordingly. Also the host needs to host by clicking on speaker's name to bring it up in the main window etc. Thus a separate person should host the hangout with good internet.
4. If there are more than 10 people they can only interact using the QnA app. Others can +1 a question asked in the app and the host will see it on top. The host can then select a question and it gets highlighted in the top as 'being answered'.
5. Only the people in the hangout can use the chat app & not the ones watching.
6. When using hangout-on-air the hangout can start prior to the live broadcast where all the 10 people join in and are set. Then the host needs to 'broadcast' and it goes live. If there is connection problem or host presses by mistake, the hangout goes off air and there is no way to restore. Thus the youtube video ends but the hangout continues.


Let's try skype next time? I guess no other conferencing platform lets you upload to youtube directly. I have seen people use ustream to record though.
