Hi all, would like some help or advice. I run a few popular faucets, and the other day we did our weekely payout run - it was paying maybe 10k people, in batches of 150, a total of 50-70 transactions. You can see them all here - all the outgoing batches all unconfirmed: https://blockchain.info/address/1BwJgbMKb7nz4GZ3uTDTbpovzznTrBbyJE

First, yes, I know I was an idiot for not putting a higher fee on in light of this weeks transaction spam attacks.

They are going out / paid via blockchain.info's API... That's all the info I have.. so...

- What can I do? Just wait and see if they go through?
- How long do I wait before they get rejected? Do they get rejected and then well get the btc back to that wallet?
- Is there anything else I can do.
- * also very frustrated with blockchain and the total lack of information from them Sad Terrible service Sad

what kind of information you are actually missing from blockchain? I had some bad impression, that you don't understand how fees, blockchain and whole infrastructure works..

what kind of information you are actually missing from blockchain? I had some bad impression, that you don't understand how fees, blockchain and whole infrastructure works..

We usually just send with a low 20k fee, we push it out ourselves using API so the fee isn't flexible. Initially we couldnt send at all, we asked our contact in blockchain and he didn't know why we couldnt send or what the error message meant - his advice just to wait... but we have 10k people waiting from money to us and past the date when we send it. So we realised we were paying people with only 5500 satoshi balances. When we incresaed our minimum to 20,000 or more it let us process the payments.. a few clicks later we sent out 8btc to 10k people (as usual) but now 24 hours later theyre all unprocessed.

This isn't a mistake ill make again, but now I'm living it with 1000s of angry people after me.. Tongue , is there anything I can do, or what is the process now? * and yeh, I'm having to write this message here as the chances of hearing back from blockchain.info before Monday afternoon are 0%.

ahh, those 10k people should be aware about current blockchain situation or you can at least post something about it to page...is not your fault, that network behaves last days like this. if somebody is unable to understands it and is angry, he should maybe move somewhere else.

So you do think too that it will just clear down and finally get accepted and confirmed?  Is there anywhere to look to see what the current backlog is, or how much "spam attack" is still going on?
