I'm planning to develop an android app for Bitcoin remittance. Can someone point me to some resources that I can use as a starting point. I've good theoretical knowledge of Bitcoin protocol and I'm an experienced android developer.
Remittance most often means overseas worker sending money home. That involves fiat. Is your android app going to convert bitcoin to local fiat currencies? If not, than it's just a bitcoin wallet and we already have enough of those on android. I am not discouraging you. When you deal with bitcoin to fiat remittance, that is almost an exchange.
