Are you sure about that ? even if it's true . sooner or later OpenBazaar will be famous for Bitcoin users and so more people will be using it. they could simply enable function to donate to the developpers or whoever controls the project . and they will get donations you can be sure Take Darkwallet for example , They have 100 BTC and it's 75% of what they need to complete their project and they don't seem to have where they generate revenue after completing the project (just donations)

yeah, escrows get to choose their fees. but only on dispute. doubt you can make much money with escrowing

Centralized? There's cryptothrift.com and there are a lot of users. Decentralized is a new business, which could work for some

I cant find the source at the moment but I think much of the money was also going to fund supporting businesses for the OpenBazaar economy. OpenBazaar itself wont make money but the businesses supporting it (graphic design firms, logistics firms, etc) can
