You will have to provide some more detail information like for example on which operating system are running, which wallet are you using i.e. Electrum-LTC?

Hi,

You can use the electrum wallet for litecoin.
Download Link here: https://electrum-ltc.org/
Download the wallet, install ,save the paraphrases and that's it.

Don't put a large amount of cryptocurrency in an online wallet though, the site could crash or they could steal your crypto.

I would also suggest that you rather make use of Electrum-LTC as suggested. Its what is called a thin or light client. You can be up and running in minutes and do not first have to download the whole blockchain for Litecoin.

As others have also already suggested PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP OF THE WALLET'S SEED.

There has been a couple of posts in the past week from people who just setup a wallet quickly so that they could send coins there. Its only after they've sent the coins that they realised that they could do nothing with those coins as they either did not have the private key for the specific address and or the seed of the wallet. Those coins are lost, there is no way to recover them unless you have either the seed for the wallet so you can recover the wallet or the private key for the address so that you can sweep it into another wallet.

So make 100% sure that you write the seed down when Electrum-LTC shows it to you and keep it in a safe place.

All you need to recover your wallet will be that seed. With it you can recover all the addresses inside that wallet. And as said, keep it in a safe place. Anybody who gets hold of that seed will also be able to access your whole wallet.

Hi,

That's a common error on wallets. normally it happens because the computer was abruptly turned off.

You just need to download the wallet again and resync it.

If the problem persists, you'll need to go to run %appdata% and go to the wallet folder. Delete all the files except the wallet.dat. resync again.

After this, you should be fine!
