As in subject is it safe to connect jumper wire and use usb powered riser

Not sure something can burn Smiley

Do not use ribbon risers. Use powered USB risers, those don't need any shorting that could potentionally burn your mobo.

I have tested connect jumpers and it's not working but the other side it doesn't burn mobo so it's rather safe to test  Grin
