Hi, im testing the interrest for an AlcheMist 96 MHS miner, it comes with custom firmware (fpga updated, and bfgminer) and with minera installed

current stats below, i can post picture with name tag later:

speed at device:

speed as minera sees it (at pool):

pool speed (litecoinpool 24 hours);

at what pricepoint would you buy this (+shipping)

if i end up selling, i will of course request the use of escrow

this miner runs at aprox 850 watt at the posted speed (since i also have a server connected which runs between 150 and 175 watts, and current usage is 1010 watts.

the miner itself runs at speed 320 MHz (they officially ran 352 MHz, but this is not recommended, and the current speed vs error rate and speed is better than higher settings)

only problem with this miner is since the firmware is not the officially one, you cannot reboot it via minera, but can do so via ssh, and if you change miner settings you need to turn the device off then on again (i.e. speed and pool) but you can add all the pools you would want since it is running bfgminer, and according to jstefanop, the driver will be included in the official bfgminer releases at some point, the fpga code will not) if any of the chips go crazy at some point, bfgminer will reset the board, and restart, so no more nannying the device...

lol, don't take my bid that serious Tongue..I'm a total scrypt miner noob and I likely don't even know the true value of this thing. I just wanted an scrypt miner for fun I suppose.

it has its own controller, with minera installed, the original was a mesh of python miner and javascript html that was un manageable. the new miner build by jstefanop is based on bfgminer, and the frontend installed, on the controller is minera, for easier configuring the device, and getting an overview of how its doing, whats not original included is psu.. but for the right price i am willing to throw in 2x rm850 psus... if your interrested allinvain can can find the right level of pricing, and for 800 plus shipping, that could include the 2 psus
