I'm investing with bitcoin as well as I still learn bitcoin core technology. I use bitcoin to save for my retirement account. I believe on bitcoin future so, I convert my efforts into bitcoin for the secured future. But I rarely play with bitcoin. Because I focus on my future with bitcoin, so spending now for playing is not my option.

I think most important part for me is that bitcoin offers that kind of security that protects me against fiat depreciation. Who knows if fiat collapses one day and I still have my bitcoin which probably will still give me the same purchasing power. Thus usability is more important than anything else although I still learn a lot just by using playing and investing with it.

What best describe why you have Bitcoin in your wallet? For me it would be using. Because I already know what a normal person should know about Bitcoin (learning). Bitcoin is my only source of online income and I use them wisely (playing). I have not buy Bitcoin with my money before (investing). So I think using best describe me. What about you?

My describe is holding in your wallet since the day in which their price will be so higher that no one can imagine today. In that moment can and must be used. But not before.

I think I'm a using/investing with bitcoin a little, but I'm learning/playing with bitcoin more.

Through bitcoin, I have really learnt quite a bit about how money works and what are the things affecting economy. I am also playing with bitcoin- it is really fun to participate in various contests related to bitcoins and reward bitcoins!

I'm a learner in bictoin technology whereas I'm a investor with bitcoin. Those who believe in bitcoin will do all the four things you have mentioned. But I'm not sure how many people who are playing and multiplying their bitcoins. Because playing is kind of spending which is not advisable to bitcoiners right now.

i will go with "using" too...if i can choose any other option then it would be "earning" because i never gamble with bitcoins (i tried once i lose so i left) so it's not "playing"..
there is no reliable investment opportunities available so definitely not "investing" and i know enough about bitcoins so not "learning"..I try to just earn some bitcoins in my free time that's why you can say i am "using" or "earning" bitcoins Smiley

I am currently only investing in bitcoin, just in case the price really takes off. Maybe when I feel I have enough invested, I may consider spending it around. Just want to make sure I have enough to make good money if it does increase in value.

I'm using and learning, investing was just a bonus that I gained from using bitcoins. Up until now, I'm still fascinated on how the whole system works, that's why I want to understand every aspect of it, and understand every little bit out of this cleverly-created system.

I hold 80% and spend 20% of my coins. The 20% will also be used to gamble and invest in high risk ventures, to make sure that I never lose every coin I own.

I think this is the only balanced option to get the most out of all the time I spend on this little adventure. I think most people have it the other way around. They spend 80% and

invest 20%.  Sad .... I have a more equal 50% split, with my fiat income.  Sad

I'm actually have some Bitcoin on my wallet for using it to buy something
And maybe for a bit of learning
But, playing? Seriously, who in the world that keep a Bitcoin in a wallet just for playing.

Mind sharing what would you normally buy using Bitcoin?

Playing have two meanings. 1. Playing around with Bitcoin by sending to random address, try to double spend etc. 2. Gambling with Bitcoin - much like using.

I am using Bitcoin every day now, but never more than what I have invested. My goal is to support the merchants, who accepted Bitcoin as a payment method, and to keep some Bitcoins for a investment.

You also need to keep some Bitcoins to explore and to experiment with new sites and services offering Bitcoin payment. So I use it for research too, when I feel adventurous. ^HeH^

Good to know that you are a big Bitcoin supporters. I believe that you have spent lot of Bitcoin on bitcoin accepting site. Have you ever spent Bitcoin in a physical store? What type of research (?) do you use Bitcoin for?

I use them as an investing/earning opportunity. It is fun, and somewhat you get to risk/be more adventurous than with old regular money.

Yes! You're right. It is fun to watch the price going down and up everyday. Yesterday we were at an average of 239 and ... as I am typing this, preev is showing 250 USD!

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!
