Bitcoin Processor BitPay Reduces Staff in Cost-Cutting Effort

BitPay has reduced the size of its staff in an effort to "reduce costs" and "better align with the pace of growth" in the industry, according to an email sent by CEO Stephen Pair to the firm's employees earlier today.

It was nice when they introduced a free plan which offers basic payment processing. I thought it would help merchants and boost bitcoin acceptance. Pity it didn't last.

Now, BitPay are to "better align with the pace of growth" in the industry? That would imply growth is slow in the industry, even BitPay is lagging behind their revenue forecast. Undecided
