Last time I couldn't log in, it took three months to resolve.

Should have had the coins out then, but I'm stupid.

Now, the site recognizes my email and user ID but not the password. All attempts to reset the password via the emailed reset password link fail.

I put in a support ticket, but need the money really fast this time. So I want to just get the coins out of there. A dog with a severe subaortic stenosis needs an operation, an expensive operation. I don't have time to be messing about while things are flagged for admin action etc. for weeks and weeks and weeks.

If Patrick or Amir are around, check your support tickets please. I know that is the way you prefer to be contacted, and for protocol's sake that's what I'm doing first, but I don't have long. I would like to be in my account by noon, UK time tomorrow so I can sell the coins and book the op.

Seriously, stop using the "services" of known thieves. You're doing a disservice to more than yourself alone.

Hi,

Let me know if you have any success. I'm trying to do the same but haven't had luck getting an answer back from support. Will let you know if I do.

Had to report it to the police today, but I'll follow up tomorrow to make sure the intelligence services get the report too, and the extra background.

It seems Strateman has locked Taaki out of the server, and Taaki isn't going to argue with a crazy person sat on $20 million. So screw a little girl's dying dog. In the meantime, there are some bloody odd things going on around the ex-bitcoinica crew. Zhou Tong being not the only potentially fictional character, and I am getting a whiff of something distinctive - like organized crime. Central European stuff that goes back a long long way.

There are enough red flags in Taaki and Normans' backgrounds to keep a leigon of spooks busy for some time trying to work out where the stolen money might have been going, whereas Strateman, who also has this politically charged background, is distinctly the odd man out.

Sure, he'll kill a little dog. He is in no great hurry to talk to his 'friends' either.

I'll be seeing my bitcoins, but I think it is beginning to occur to Donald and Amir that they won't be seeing any of the $20 million. Which will cause no end of grief. No doubt there are 'family friends' from the old country starting to crawl out of the woodwork any time now too.

Can you imagine the feeding frenzy round these two if bitcoins go up in price much more? Ha, and Strateman has cut them off Smiley

They'll have nothing to feed the piranahs, who will be convinced they are holding out.

They might be better off in jail actually, although, it has to be said, Amir is rather pretty.

Known thieves? Care to elaborate? I used them for a long time.

Joey, would you mind asking support to unlock my account? And Madhashers?

I don't know how much Madhasher is wanting, but I appear to be short $10k. So yeah. Known thieves. If you can get them to pay up, you will be saving a dog's life.

Known thieves? Care to elaborate? I used them for a long time.

It's linked. Read. Read more.

OP, creating a mythology about demonstrably retarded asshats isn't doing anyone any favors, either. Incompetence and thievery aren't necessarily, or even frequently, organized.

20 million and rising in the hands of 'demonstrably retarded asshats' has a tendency to be self organizing Smiley

Nice turn of phrase there..!

It is like looking at the ingredients on the chopping board of a chef. You aren't sure quite what your dinner will be, but you know what it'll have in it.
