Someone came to me looking for some help in tracking down an issue they are having.

They claim that a transaction was sent to them at the address:  -----

But that it never confirmed and that it is now dropped from their memory pool (as well as from the block explorers).

Does anyone know where I can find a copy of a transaction that was sent but which was never confirmed and which has now been dropped from most memory pools?

I'm hoping that perhaps there is someone on this forum that has created a program that keeps an archive of transactions that never confirmed.

I'm especially interested in any of the following information that you might have access to:

  • The transaction ID of the original transaction that was sent to that address.
  • The date and time (in UTC) that the transaction first showed up in your memory pool (or was last seen in your memory pool).
  • The UTXO set that was used to fund the transaction
  • The raw original transaction.
  • If that transaction could be successfully re-broadcast, or if the funding UTXO have been spent elsewhere since then.

EDIT:
This information is no longer needed. I've locked the thread and removed the bitcoin address.
