Made a payment using quickbt.com for interac purchase of 0.25 BTC yesterday around 11:00.

Was in Request half of multibit HD as "receiving" and "Unconfirmed" for over 24 hours.

Today I had to reboot computer because of crash.  When I reopen Multibit HD there is nothing in Request side.  If I enter 'payments' section it is still logged as a request.

However, the BTC not in my wallet, nor has it been refunded as cash through interac to my bank account.

So what do I do now to follow up?

If you have a transaction ID, post it. That allows us to understand whether its a wallet problems (I doubt it) or a problem with the service. No matter what, you should contact their support.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

I have contacted quickbt.com.  I can't figure out how to contact Multibit HD.  And I really don't know which one I should be contacting.

I got a receipt # from quickbt.  And of course the bitcoin address.

Is there a more reliable interac or credit card service I can use than quickbt?

Well it depends. Is the bitcoin transaction confirmed or not? There is a sub board here for multibit, but from what you write (>24hours unconfirmed) I doubt its a multibit issue.

-snip-

Not sure what their receipts are worth. An address might help, yes.

Thanks for the help much appreciated.

I do not know how to check if the transaction is confirmed.

I thought I wasn't supposed to share the bitcoin address?

How are you receiving coins if you didnt share the address?

You should never share:

- your private key(s) (multibit hides them from you anyway)
- your seed (the words multibit created when you set up the wallet)
- your password(s) obviously
- your wallet file(s)

Im not really here, its just your imagination.

250mB  @  67.80 USD

Nothing there -> https://blockchain.info/address/12onBy6PKgw3tuESG5kXjE2XnGeWszoo8J
-> https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/address/12onBy6PKgw3tuESG5kXjE2XnGeWszoo8J
-> https://insight.bitpay.com/address/12onBy6PKgw3tuESG5kXjE2XnGeWszoo8J

blockr, lists an unconfirmed input of 0.25 -> http://btc.blockr.io/zerotx/info/fc29bb217d71b0a324f077d558eb120027890e445037d091bc09c9b9d5a51842

archive (just in case it also forgets about the TX) -> https://archive.is/BYeLf

If you click the little arrow (<) next to the "sending address"[1] you will get to another TX that is also not confirmed.

This chain goes back a few TX until you reach a point where even blockr does not remember anything about the TX.

This sounds like a quickbt.com mistake. Not sure what exactly went wrong there, but it did not start with your transaction. You should get in contact with them
either via their homepage -> https://quickbt.com/ca/contact/
or in their thread -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=272967.0

Your TX ID is -> fc29bb217d71b0a324f077d558eb120027890e445037d091bc09c9b9d5a51842

and they need to resend it. If they do not comply contact interac about a possible refund. I am not familiar with that service so I cant tell if its possible.

I left a warning for other users on their account here, good luck.
