You are using TOR yet you don't know why these things happens? LOL. Man, TOR is slow for a reason you should've know why before accessing it. Are you even sure of what you are doing in there?

Anyway some onion sites will not load at some time, try accessing it again some other time. In my case there is indeed a lot of onion sites that doesn't load but eventually from a certain time, they does.

I expect that some websites could be blocking TOR to try and stop abuse, not too sure why something like Dunkin Donuts would block it. Then again, I don't much understand why you would want to access Dunkin Donuts using TOR. Each to their own I suppose.

As for the second one, this might have something to do with it:

This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.
As far as I know, TOR refuses to accept some cookies that aren't session only[1]. Perhaps this is why.

Some sites block Tor (which is easy to do, since the IP addresses of exit nodes are public), and there's not much you can do about it besides use a VPN.

She can't because she doesn't. She's only posting because she gets paid to, and didn't even bother to read your question, which has nothing whatsoever to do with onion sites or Tor being slow.

sometimes tor make some strange issues you can try to restart if but mostly it wont do any good.
almost all sites now have some protection from tor i have noticed on some sites that can be done anything if you are on tor.

for this is tor is good for testing i dont use it so often maybe also try on there support page.

Thanks for that information.  I am using trails so it will be problematic to turn on VPN just to browse a few sites

Some websites don't allow TOR to access them because of malicious activity that has taken place in the past or because they see it as a future liability. Alternatively you can use a bridge, preferably a private bridge within the TOR network and you can choose to allow javascript and other scripts (Not recommended)

Thank you, I was just reading on Bridge and relay, and trying to set one up.  do you have a good place to learn more?

Unfortunately I am primarily a dumby with not much information as I'm learning things each and every day. However you might be well off checking the TOR website and the valuable resources that are directly linked from there !
