They had problems with the previous version of the site and deleted all threads and posts.
Is there any working 'copy' of Bitcointalk to find the old topics?
I said high instead of 20% because of self-moderated thread.

Conventional definition of house edge is “the ratio of all money lost by players to the total money they wagered.” Unless you consider players individually, the house edge in the previous set up was indeed 0%.

wizardofodds seem to disagree with you.

The house edge is defined as the ratio of the average loss to the initial bet. The house edge is not the ratio of money lost to total money wagered.

No, both are the same. (you are ignoring the role of "boss" while taking into account the average loss)

Case scenario.
Players have say 10% chance of becoming a boss and getting refund. 45% to win and 45% to lose.

Player makes 100 bets.
45 wins. 36 profit.
45 loss. 45 loss.
10 boss. Expected profit is 9. (20%*10*10*0.45)

Or simply, the EV of the player and the EV of the house adds up to zero. In this case, the house has no advantage, so the player has no advantage either. (when the payout was 1.8x)

tl;dr when the payout was 1.8x, the house edge was 0%.
If the payout is made to 2x and the house also gives 20% of lost bets to the boss, the house edge would be -10% and the player's EV would be +10%.

Edit: EV seems to be 10% to the players now  Shocked

I said high instead of 20% because of self-moderated thread.

It is either 10% if you go by shorena's interpretation, or 0% if you go by mine (i.e. house edge is EV of the house).

Do not play on ralobot

There are three giant red flags:

  • Their provably fair system is completely vulnerable. A miner has complete control of what timestamp it uses and routinely generates fake ones, as the nonce is not big enough. They a miner just needs to only pick timestamps that would make them win, and not propagate the transactions. Or alternatively this vulnerability against players if ralobot control hash power by only putting losing transactions in a block. Both of these cost nothing to do.
  • They use a self-moderated thread, like other scammy sites like gawminer, pocketrocketcasino and fortunejack to hide what customers are really saying
  • Running with 0 house edge is not viable unless your plants involve some sort of scamming. No one is going to expose themselves to unlimited risk for no return. Right now they have a negative house edge, which means they have unlimited risk and are playing players to pay. Either idiots or incompetence

Conclusion is that it must be avoided at all costs.

In all this discussion one fact seems to have been lost, they have no
1) Maximum bet limit
2) Cold storage wallet, hot wallet has only 0.01 which I think is not a good sign considering the bet limit.
And some more facts, owner himself is confused about house edge , I don't see how he is trying to money off it or if he is going to scam and run when he gets a big deposit like 0.05+ .
@ndnhc, the method of choosing the "boss" hasn't been declared, so until then the game is negative edge to players at 1.8x. And the reason to make it at 2x seems that, owner is trying to make it look as least shady as possible for making a big scam. Lastly , consider the post from DannyHamilton in shorena's post.

@ndnhc, the method of choosing the "boss" hasn't been declared,

The site lacks information on how the boss is picked and also what the payout on win is.

so until then the game is negative edge to players at 1.8x.

No, you don't understand. I am saying it is 0% edge to the player because the boss is NOT the house at the moment. It was 1JUVegNWquDxHJN37CHPp6V7rLTnaDcgmS (could be the house or a player. idk) and now me.

All I am stating is house edge was 0%. Not 10%. Not 20%. I do not disagree with anything else you said.

My answer to that would be that he s trying to keep up the heat down as low as possible, to keep the big fish coming, and like a ponzi , run away when a big deposit is recieved. At any rate, care to share how much you have recieved from the Boss promo?
And have a look at vervoliman's post as well.

Thanks for the info about the malware on this weird site. Regarding the issue on its operator (was kayenpal before), this new alt (ralobot) said that kayenpal is only one of  his advertisers for his site (I do not believe it Smiley )
