Hello,

I need to sell my bitcoins and get pounds sterling into my UK bank account.

Since Intersango no longer does this can anyone advise? I don't mind getting a lower rate as I need the cash.

Thank you in advance,

I'll buy your coins, via Western Union deposited into your bank account.

I need to sell my bitcoins and get pounds sterling into my UK bank account.

Many Bitcoin exchanges offer to let you withdraw your funds as an International bank wire.  The problem is the funds are generally going to be in a currency other than GBP and that trade then incurs currency conversion costs.

Bitcoin-Central just launched its BTC/GBP market.  It doesn't have great liquidity yet, but it did just open.  There are no reports yet as to how long after a pound sterling (GBP) withdrawal takes to reach a UK bank account.

AurumXChange will let you sell an exchange's redeemable code (e.g., MTGUSD) for a bank wire (GBP).  The fee appears to be about 5%.

Go on localbitcoins.com and trade with someone reputable.  Do an advanced search and show all the sellers within 200 miles of birmingham to list all the sellers in the UK, as the location doesn't matter since you are trading for a bank wire.

SealsWithClubs poker room has  over 400 players online. Buy in from .01 to 60btc.      BTCSportsMatch lets you bet sports with vig free lines!  Best kept secret in bitcoin....          LocalBitcoins.com is very user-friendly now for bank transfers.  You don't have to live close to trade when in the same currency area.
Electrum client is awesome. Try it. And please stop sending bitcoins to sites run by security newbies, or don't complain when you lose everything.
