Hi!
I'm very new to the bitcoin world and I want to mine bitcoins. So I looked up how to and almost everything went well. I use Slush's pool to mine in and I use GUIminer as mining software. But there is one problem with it. When I open it it says under 'Device' 'No OpenCL Devices'. Dunno if that's a problem or anything but also when I click start mining it freezes at the 'connecting' state. It never actually starts (?)

I typed in my username and password but it still doesn't get anywhere (I suppose 'username' and 'password' were the onces used for the pool).

Please help me get the miner to start!

Thank you!

What video card does your computer have? If it's 4+ years old, chances are the video card does not support OpenCL.

It's Intel HD Graphics Family. I have the latest driver installed as well.

Edit: It's no more than one year old.

You have to make a worker on mining.bitcoin.cz . Your user name and password on guiminer will be the name of that worker and it's password.

Intel HD 3000? If so, it doesn't support OpenCL.
