I'm looking for some pocketknives to give to my older kids this Xmas. When I was a kid, my father would get used pocket knives for myself and my siblings because kids lose them often. If you have a pocketknife that you no longer use, I'm interested in buying it. Expecially if you have a pre-import-ban balisong or other one handed pre-import-ban pocketknife, but I'm interested in those for myself. (I have a state license for carrying concealed deadly weapons, and that includes knives, so unlike some who live in The Peoples' Republic of California or NY I'm not risking jail time for owning these types of knives.)

I've got one of these I can part with for something reasonable: Kershaw Crown 3160 - wood grain micarta like pic (now they are smoother)  Cold Steel Mini-Pal with this style of snap sheath (Japan) (not legal Canada/UK?):  And zee grandaddy, Swiss Champ ~'95, blades have been sharpened once by knife shop.  I don't think mine has #32 (I guess that goes in the corkscrew?). 4 something reasonable, just because you want them. |

That thing has got to be huge, although My son would just love to have a Swiss army knife with more gagets on it than my leatherman tool. |

What if I said ~1.99 BTC shipped... It's the newest of mine, and only has slight wear (like a drop on the ground closed once or twice). Take a look at Spydercos or Benchmade if you want your kids to treasure them for a lifetime. A Swiss Army Knife like the Climber or Spartan would be good as a 'beginner' knife too.
PS: I'm EDC-ing a Climber since a young age. A Spyderco ParaMilitary 2 comes with me where the law permits too. (especially for hiking trips etc.)

I have the Swiss Army Cybertool 41, and lemme tell you, it is the best $130 I spent on ANYTHING, EVER. I use it multiple times per day, every day. I also have the Victorinox SwissTool (basic $115 model) that has seen some rough and tough service and still looks and feels like a million bucks. Great quality and craftsmanship. This reminds me, i need to order some replacement screwdriver bits for my Cybertool...lost my Torx10 bit. the biggest one they seem to sell now is the 34, but still a great tool. If someone's offering up a CyberTool or SwissChamp for a reasonable price, grab it! Amazing quality. |
