I am a great supporter of Paying it Forward and I love all Bitcoin projects that include something where people can donate to charities in a novel way.

I recently found this project and I think it combines innovation with charity in a very unique way ---> http://www.ucontrol.tv/buckets/

They donate to http://www.seansoutpost.com/ and thewaterproject.org and their own water bill. Donate and splash!

Would it be possible for us to list projects and sites supporting charities were you can donate with Bitcoin?

I also know freebitco.in donates to Save the Children, an international charity that saves children's lives in over 120 countries! Total donated = 7.05502600 BTC

Please add to the list, by posting in this thread, if you have a cool project that combines Bitcoin with charities... thanks all.  Wink

I only know a single initiative in regards with charities, and that one is Sean's Outpost wherein the donations will be used to feed the homeless and poor. Really a good cause and they are still paying it forward. Smiley

I like the bucket idea and the remote interface with the donations being done. I used to donate to Sean's Outpost directly, but this is a lot more fun. They should show this from more angles, I want to see where the water goes after it was dumped?

I must say, people are very creative and this is one of those ideas that blow your mind. ^hmf^

Just to add to my post, I remember a cause which helps poor village children go to school every year but the initiative is funded with dogecoins, the cause being doge4school. I wonder if we could create one too, seeing that education is one of the most important tools in life.

In the past we have partially funded a project from thewaterproject.org with noblecoin.

I really like how thewaterproject.org works, as you can clearly see that your donations are used for something good. They provide pictures of the well digging project and the end result.

No more money going to corrupt officals anymore that way.

The RNLI, a national British charity that saves lives at sea, has accepted BTC donations for quite some time. Not very novel but a noble cause all the same.

Great stuff, we need more people to give some time and money to worth while charities and combine it with something like this. People want something where they can donate and

immediately see the difference it will make in someones life. There are loads of people who create fake charities for financial gain, and in my opinion these people will lose more than

what they gained, karma is a bitch...  Wink Good luck with your project and report back to us, WHEN you launched it... remember ... Pay it Forward.  Grin
