I have no idea why Theymos doesn't enable email verification.  It would slow these bots down for sure.

4 frikkin threads about it already, you're just giving the attention to the troll. Last I checked it was being handled in less than a minute, this is what patrollers are getting paid to do

Ahh, OK.  I just noticed these now.  Sorry to be slow on the uptake, mexxer-2.

Good thing the mods are on the ball.

I still don't understand the motive of these messages though.

Would this be the Bitcoin equivalent of the "St. Petersburg Trolls"?  (Russians paid to write Kremlin propaganda)

Jealousy.  They must have been banned from the forum or something.

Well my explanation of it was, posted from my thread which although being the first one got the least amount of posts lol,:
I notice there is either a new spam bot or it is one of MrFudged ones, the previous threads, as they were similar in post content , title etc, were kept on being deleted in less than a minute. Now either he or some more intent spammer seems to create threads like:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1275920.0;topicseen
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1275915.0;topicseen
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1275916.0;topicseen (Please keep one of them, mods, for public viewing purposes)

These threads essentially have no similarity in them so that the nuking bot may take effect, so I'd like to ask what are the mods doing to solve this wave of spam?

The current wave(about 15) of spam was deleted, patrollers do a good job IMO

For sure are bots. Someone is tried to put in work its last "invention" and use bitcointalk as a place where can verify the quality of its "job". Work or not. For sure are not humans. Have any kind of meaning these threads. Even the more idiot person cannot do such things without meaning. Or if is human is not in mind and do the things that normally can do a mind who need help by a doctor. Anyhow I think that soon will be not more. Every moderator who is responsible for the section in which are made will delete these soon. If not are already deleted.
