Yes it is, especially if you count in the fact that gemini is just recently launched. I'm convinced that it will rise up to be a big trading platform for institutional investors,
being the fully legal exchange. The volume is increasing constantly, now it's just question of is it purely related to this bullrun or are there already that many new investors.

its a great site, nice exchange, the only thing I'm not to fond of is the UI. Its like mtgox and kraken had a love child.

These kind of features will change after they receive some customer feedback.

The most important part of this exchange is that it is regulated. You are protected to some degree. It is not Mt Gox.

Currently with all the high volumes Gemini is standing at 3000BTC volume which might be low according to some people, but for an exchange that has just started, it's decent. Especially if you consider they only let US custommers use their platform, for now.

3000 for a new exchange is very impressive. It is located in New York and regulated by authority. That is just a start. In the future, it could become the largest.

How much is a bot and how much is real of course can be debated but this is based in New york so i'm sure there is some real volume trading there now on the exchanges either way its already three times the OP volume so not bad.

This is areal milestone for a company just started not long ago. Could be magic...

But let's face it the time they entered the market was very convenient for them. I am wondering what happends when the price will be in decline though..

If there is its highly unlikely to be within this week, the price did correct but the volume on Gemini will likely rise.
Part of the reason for that is the increased attention the New York Times Article as this is in the print edition today and may bring in additonal institutional investors in New York or a few more newbies there, so they are in for more fun

Looks like the paper of record is recognizing the price increase and its possible causes.
