I guess they may see it as an opportunity in the near future to incorporate into a new revenue model for music. like a P2P micropayment system for playing certain songs.

Just imagine something like spotify, where every song would cost a couple of bits. You also directly pay the artist this way.

A couple months ago a bitcointalk user who has purchased some coins from me alerted me to the fact that he sold a few coins to someone on ebay who said they were going to use it in a music video (I believe the buyer contacted him about expedited shipping, which led to the buyer explaining why he needed the coins quickly). This is the first I've heard about the video (and I have yet to watch it), but thanks to OP for posting it.

I didn't get paid for it, aside from them buying a coin from someone I sold a coin to, but still cool for something you made to wind up in a music video.
