Hi all,
So is this the way to go? Have a GTX580 running on slush's pool for a few days now and getting about 180Mhash avg. How does this compare to others?
And what pool would you recommend I choose? I'm based in the EU

I am in the same pool.  Seems OK for now, but I have seen some math errors on their site.  However they have been doing a lot of system maintenance over the weekend.  Either way it shouldn't effect payouts.

Also, if you can, get an AMD based video card.  most miners run more efficiently with them.

I've been on mtred for about a year now. They're ok. If you want to mine on GPU, ATI is the way to go.
