I am new here, and to be honest, I just signed up to warn other users of Cryptsy:

we've all seen the issues regarding Cryptsy by now and I'd like to report my own story; I'll keep it short but am happy to answer any questions.

So, here we go:

1) A couple days ago I got banned from their trollbox although I wasn't even chatting at that time (I can live with that)
2) Then, I wanted to sell the rest of my altcoins and get the BTCs out - without luck of course, as many others have already reported
3) Today they even banned my IP from accessing cryptsy.com (see screenshot)

Now, I can only access it via my phone (takes a bit to enter a 32 char password, plus 2FA (switch apps and so on)) but now I'm stuck again since they obviously stopped any trading (see trollbox for other users having the same problem).

The balance of my account is ZERO right now (although there should be at least 5 altcoins with a sum of about 0.05BTC, not much but anyway).

Support is not responding and I'm lost at this point.

I do not intend to involve lawyers or fight in any other ways – I just want to warn any other users and, ultimately get the remaining coins out.

That's it... as always, research & judge for yourself and don't listen to any trolls but be aware that there are a couple of issues with Cryptsy.

Thanks for listening.

Just about 5 minutes ago I was still able to trade between alts and BTC but now for the first time I start running into "invalid existing password" issues when trying to withdraw BTC.

Answer from support@cryptsy.com:

"Please try to clear your cache/cookies or delete your browsing history and try to log-in again."

They do not realize that I can NOT even get to the login form – either they're completely incompetent or just scamming... take care!
