Here is a simple wallet you can use to trade on ripple. It's pretty easy to convert crypto using shapeshift. Let me know what you think.

https://triskelionwallet.com/

This wallet is independent from Ripplelabs and you don't need any id verification. Privacy preserved.

I know many bitcoiners do not like ripple for many reasons (sometimes good one) but it's still in my opinion a very interesting tech (that can go along with bitcoin).
So it's just a wallet for another kind of blockchain existing on the vast area of crypto. Lets stay open minded Smiley

Give it a try if you want to experiment on ripple and let me know what you think, this is still a beta.

I've tried this site, but I can't seem to send my XRP to my Ripple account so the account is just holding onto money that I can't convert.

To be more precise when you go to the send menu, you enter the address, and then it says amount. I put in 20, checked XRP as the currency, and then nothing happens. There is no confirmation button or anything that redirects me confirming transaction.

Thanks for trying it. Don't worry you can send and convert anything.
I need to know few things:

1. Have you create a new wallet or imported one ?
2. Have you entered your secret key (see settings) ?
3. Is you account holding more than 20xrp ? (20xrp is a minimum that can't be sent + 5xrp per trustline, rules of the ripple network)

I think that the reason may be that you didn't enter your secret key in the settings part. To be clear about this, your secret key is only kept on your browser, never sent in clear anywhere, there is no way for us or anyone to know it. So putting your secret key in settings is just more convenient BUT if you don't want that you can use your secret key in place of your password and it should work.

Thanks for your feedback don't hesitate to ask more questions, let me know if this solved your problem. You can also contact me in PM or on xrpchat.com where I'm often.

Oh, okay you just cleared up some key points for me. So I think what it is is the 20 XRP minimum. So there has to be at least a minimum of 20 XRP in the account meaning I would need 40 XRP total if I wanted to move 20 XRP into another account yes?

Yes this is the point. An account/address to be validated in the ripple ledger has 20XRP blocked (to prevent spam). Also for each trustline you would create needs 5xrp to be reserved for that (but when you clear the trustline you get the 5xrp back).
Nonetheless I've spotted few bug in the sent function ( actually no message saying the transaction is correct and loading gif still running) so thanks for pointing that out, I'm fixing this right now.
Thanks for your feedback , don't hesitate to share ideas how to improve the wallet or reach me if you encounter other difficulties

Alright, well I guess I'll have to wait for that then hope it gets done soon! Thank you so much for your services. Also the website is simple so, I think you should just build off that simplicity and keep things basic, easy-to-use. Could even be used as an app the way it is.

Yes, I've tried it and it is working great now. I know this might be asking much but is there a way to convert USD into Ripple without having to use an external page? Seems like it's impossible to buy any amount of BTC without limits on them these days.

The wallet is providing an easy way to use shapeshift that's all.

How is external page related to limits in buying ?

The other dude created an account to ask his question I think Smiley It's been a while I'm reading this forum without participating. Something you can do is check on xrpchat.com about my reputation (which is good Smiley ). Also I found an old article about a hackathon we made a while ago https://www.rudebaguette.com/2014/06/19/take-aways-first-french-bitcoin-hackathon/

About security, everything is encrypted and your secret key is never sent to our server. There is no way for us to know your secret key or even your password.

Thanks for trying it, don't hesitate to give us a feedback or share improvement ideas.

Ok so I setup an account transferred XRP to it successfully.  So if I want to send XRP to an address, where do I add the destination tag?
Also, the drop down for trade option is blank.  Thanks.
