Alright guys, So I bought 200ish GH/s of S5 hashing power at hashnest not too long ago, to test things out, with the payout of each day(actually pays out every time a block is "mined"), I bought more hashing power.

Today I decided to get 1 TH/s of S5 and see how that pans out.

I thought I'd make this thread and post updates about this every so often, so that if anyone out there is looking to throw some BTC at Hashnest, they can read this and get an idea of how it is.

So in total as of today, I have 1226 GH/s of S5 Hashing power.

I haven't decided whether I will reinvest the payout or if I'll store it.

If you guys have any questions feel free to ask Smiley

i'm interested in this, first thing

i tried to buy less than the hash of one single unit, but you can only put the number of unit there, i'm missing something? (not talking about pakmic)

the second is, how much is your net profit? i'm curious about the exact fee, i don't like to have surprise after i bough something

Less than the hash of a single unit? Like 0.5 GH/s?

Net Profit, can't really say. I have to make back the investment first to profit, right?

But, the hashing power can be sold in their marketplace anytime. That being said, I guess I can turn around and sell the hashing power and take the BTC and run. Then, in that case, all BTC mined with that hashing power would be profit, minus or plus any difference in the sale price to the buying price of the hashing power.

I will post the amount of BTC "mined" for 24 hours, tomorrow. That would be considered profit in the above case, right?

Your "profit" ll depend on the number of blocks mined, BTC diff and BTC price. One day or even one week results are not enough to estimate some kind of trend or result. You ll need to have at least a few months of data.

You're correct, that is why I will post the 24 hour results tomorrow Smiley

Might make a list with dates and 24 hour "mining" results and upload it somewhere and update it regularly.

You should get something like 0.0076 - 45% maintenance.
So 0.0041 per thash payouts on average.

I put in a few bucks here and there with companies that eventually turned out to be scams. Thankfully I never lost much.

I think you are correct with that statement. With the 1226 GHash/s S5 the earnings for yesterday were 0.00541147 BTC.

I'm still not sure whether I should reinvest those "earnings" into more GHash/s or just hold it. Any suggestions?

I personally like to differentiate. But this is your money. If you do decide to reinvest, make sure you follow S5 price closely. Cause you might end up losing your money if S5 goes down in the future.

I was thinking the same. Do you have any suggestions where I can invest the "earnings" from the S5?
