Shapeshift.io conversion - My litecoins are lost

I wanted to convert an amount of Litecoin into BTC on official android shapeshift app, sent coins and got a message that says received now converting, after 2 minutes the error was like "Transaction took too long" and my Litecoins are gone and never received BTC, and I can still see my litecoins on their address? I have waiting 3 days,  the point is not my litecoins it's not much anyway but its above minimum, the problem is this bug and it might affect larger amounts of crypto, I mean litecoins should be returned if it took too long.

Did you contact them?

I have had botched transactions a few times from them.

Was usually my fault though for sending too many coins.

Regardless, they have been awesome at return my coins almost immediately.

Remember to put a return address next time and if there is an error coins will come back right away.

Thanks for the tip, I will remember to use return address, and yes I have contacted them, waiting for reply, still nothing so far, I love shapeshift and used with dogecoin before but never face this problem, I got paranoid what if I lose bigger amount next time, hope they answer my support request.

it was resolved and I got my coins, if I didn't write a reply it's because the forum doesn't let me write for straight 360 something seconds so I forgot to post again.
