Hello Friends,
Many people told me and obviously the rule of this forum is that users are allowed to insert Avatar In their Profile in the forum when they reach the "Full Member" Rank position.
But what about this one ?
Link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=128959
Check this user is a Jr. Member with 45 Activities and still i can see he inserted avatar in his profile .
Am i misunderstanding some rules or there is some new rules too ?

there was a hiccup in the forum software some time ago where every user was shown as a hero member with 1.5k activity or something (dont remember), and a few members took the opportunity to upload an avatar to their profiles.

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.

I also thought if you give donation to the site you are granted special privledges such as this one.
If it was a glitch shouldn't it have been dealt with from a forum moderator? It isn't a big deal but people do complain if others are given special treatment over others.

AFAIK that is a different case compared to the profile given in the OP, the profile given in the OP have its avatar because it is before the avatar thing was disabled for the security of the forum

Yes, I am aware of that but I am only stating that there was a time where this happened and some other users with a member and below rank still has the avatars in their profiles.

This is from the time before forum once got hacked due to something related to avatar, which is why theymos disabled avatars for Members and below. Any Newbie-Member account which had an avatar before that event got their avatar permanently stuck until they turn Full member, which is when they can change them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1008863.0
As for the "Hero Member" glitch, that happened recently(Oct 05) : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1200720.0
