After these most recent price action shennanigans, both Kraken and Stamp can get to fuck. I mean, check this price action out of Kraken (and Stamp was the same/worse), and then compare it with that of Huobi. The long position was taken when price structure and low time frame moms suggested bullish case, the short position was taken after support for bullish case failed, and price structure was looking very bearish. At the moment...I favour a correction. Had I placed my bet on Huobi, then I would still be in the market....had I not set a Stop Loss order on Kraken, then I would be at break even level as I type:






So If Huobi is market leader, has the greatest volume, greatest liquidity, and chart formations that actually reflect the pyschology of the market other than the psychology of some exchange insider Stop Order farmer, combined with 0% fees....surely the wise thing for me to do would be to get the fuck of these piece of shit erratic Western Exchanges and onto thee Market Leader exchange...Huobi....

However...China n all...could probs just take your BTC and nothing you would be able to do about it....anyone had any experiences with them, or heard any horror stories?

Yep. Closed all my positions today, too much uncertainty and like you said low volume horse shit shenanigans.  I'd rather break even or a tiny loss than get wrecked.

Do you really beleive they will risk their reputations by running those bots?
They might be annoying for making your price predictions, but for the price they might be good if you want to get out at some point, atleast they have it to run the price up.

Yeah...that would be a cause for concern.......although the purpose of the Huobi and OKCoin bots will be to ramp price up and down (increasing volume in the process)...Willy Bot only ever bought......

There are also 0% fees on Huobi....that means someone with 1 BTC can sit and try and trade 5 CNY swings, all day long, and, and end up producing 100 BTC of volume.

I would like to know f it's possible for a westerner to register on Huobi too. If westerners can register then can they make deposits and withdrawals through bank wire transfers? I thought the Chinese were only allowed to deposit through wires, and not withdraw through them. If the Chinese can't withdraw using wires, then westerners won't be able to.

It is possible....I done so last night......got IS verified, and am now free to deposit through USD wires.....but I aint gonna do that....BTC on the exchange....trade in CNY with 0% fees........BTC off the exchange.....


I suspect that a big part of what BTC is all about for Chinese Bitcoiners is Capital Control Evasion. Huobi leads the market....especially to the upside....Huobi bots ramp bitcoin, with their fabricated volume (which could also be 100% backed by BTC/CNY....Chinese Bitcoiner then dumps on USD exchanges, BTC crashes.......wash rinse repeat......A shit ton of BTC are mined in China..no shortage of BTC hitting the markets their and the big buyers of it will be those tech savvy, well connected Bitcoiners, running thier little Capital Flight racket.....or something like that.
