make an address which you totally control.
Go to Tomatocage's thread and post it there, so you can prove your ownership later, if something happens to your account.
You'll need to be able to sign a message from that address.

#2 dont use that password elsewhere
#3 use a strong password for your mail
#4 dont use that password elsewhere

#7 use a strong password for your wallet
#8 dont use that password elsewhere
#9 (optional) learn how to use PGP

#11 use a strong password for your PGP private key

If you account gets hacked or if you lose your password, you still can recover it following this topic:

I would focus on password security because recover accounts may take a while

#4 dont use that password elsewhere
