I can not select one specifically for it all depends on the amount of the transaction we are talking about.  If I am talking about a 1 BTC transaction, I am not going to mark it as 100 million satoshi.  It is just the same as using your country currency, you break it down as the amount gets larger.  When I am buying something for 50 cents, I use cents and when I buy something for $10, I use the term of dollars.

I'm most comfortable with BTC, though I think that "bits" might become the most common unit in the future.

"satoshi" is too much of a mouthful. I wish people would just start saying "sat" for that unit.

Yes bits is better though some are used with others. Like me I just cant stop computin it as satoshi. Even my friends always used that word. They still prefer it like that and they can understand it better.

As others have mentioned, I prefer Bitcoin itself for higher priced items, but I go with Satoshis for smaller transactions. Those are the two that I learned first and work most naturally for me.

I know the metric system applied to bitcoin "makes sense" but I have a miserable time keeping straight which is which between mBTC and uBTC, which could have gotten me in trouble a couple times. I agree that not having anything between satoshis and bitcoins creates a large awkward hole in the middle for items of moderate price. But somehow I just don't see "bits" or something similar catching on.

Hopefully Bitcoin pricing will continue to move up and someday 1 satoshi will actually be worth something! :-)

Yeah, it's all or nothing for me too. BTC for big prices, satoshi for anything that would qualify as everyday purchases, such as doing groceries type of money. I don't buy much stuff with Bitcoin so im sure in the future once it's more common to do so, people will just keep used to it. I have some friends in Europe and when they went from their national currency to the EUR it was a pain in the ass at first too, but people got used to it.

I already posted my opinion here, but I'm glad people agree with me and that I'm not crazy.  "Bits" to me is like centigrams, a unit that I never use and that shouldn't exist.  I know what it is, but it just requires too much thought and an unnecessary conversion.  As I said, it's a pet peeve, like Roman numerals.

I always use 0.01 BTC or 0.128 BTC as I find it more easy. At this point BTC is the best unit measure for me. I could try to work more with mBtc, but that's more for the future.

mbtc for me is getting me dizzy. It is like I dont know where to multiply it. Just like the other day when someone paid me 3.5mBTC . Crap I dont know how will I calculate it.  Grin I am really not good with that.

I only like "satoshis"

Many websites measure it in mBTC and uBTC, it's really annoying and it's mostly cant be changed.

Satoshi is the best and people should learn to use that, since if the price goes really up, satoshi will be the base unit of it Cheesy
