Bitcoin value for a small web store

Hi all,

Dose any one have advice on keeping up with the value of Bitcoins for a small web store?
Just over the last month the exchange rate between USD and BTC went from around 11.00 to 13.50 on mtgox.
I do not want to have the items over priced because of the Bitcoin value increasing. At the same time it is a pain to update the prices for each item.
The web store is using zen cart and I am using the Bitcoin plug in for it.

I've never used them before, but BitPay has shopping cart plugins including one for zen cart. BitPay is the company that Wordpress uses to accept bitcoins. Read more at https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-shopping-cart-plugins.

When a customer goes to check out and chooses bitcoins, he or she is redirected to bitpay to complete the purchase.

BitPay only charges 1% for their service if you keep the payments in bitcoin (as opposed to direct deposit to a bank account).

I am using a Bitcoin plugin written by jalder. Both the jalder and bitpay plugin would leave me having to update the prices in the store from time to time.

So if you could enter the price in dollars but it would always calculated the equivalent price in BTC based on the 24 hour VWAP from MTGox BTC/USD, that would be all you need?     

Looks like you are using round numbers, so does simply having a display round down at a certain number of decimals work? 
e.g.,  for something priced at $25 USD would display 1.8 BTC  which is what 1.85185 BTC is rounded down to, using $13.50 BTC/USD as an example.

Another option is to switch shopping carts. There is a plugin for opencart that does on the fly USD to BTC conversions based on Mt Gox. It is available at https://github.com/btcgear/OpenCart_Bitcoin.

Opencart looks nice. I am going to test it out. Will switch carts if it works.
