Hi,

We just installed the new Antminer S7 but there is no way we can get connection. There is no green light and there is no way to get an IP number. We also tried connecting directly to the miner but we can not get acces or an IP adress.

Is it possible the controlboard is dead...eventhough the miner is unused??

Can anyone help or advise???

not enough info re your config. are you connecting your miner directly to a router via class 5 or class 6 ethernet cord (don't connect it to PC) or some wi-fi scheme?
did you use the advanced-ip-scanner (PC) or something like iNet (mac)?
Did you made sure that the ethernet cord is firmly attached, you connected at least 1300W PSU(s) to the miner, including CONTROLLER (on the side) AND powered the PSU?
... and, finally, did you use the JUMPER on PSU?

it is very unlikely to be DOA since they usually "test" it at least for some time.

So is unit powering on?   We need to know if this is power problem or ethernet problem.  What voltage are you plugging that PSU into?

If it is on what is your normal IP range for your network?  This could be a problem if using a different subset of IP's then it's static.
