Hey guys I've just done some shit which I think I am now going to regret really bad Sad

I had no idea what I was doing at the bitcoin ATM when I went to buy some coins.
I got there and was required to make a paper wallet because I was stupid enough to not bring the address for the one I created via Armory at my home.
I then got home to find that my Armory had been closed, resulting in it requiring atleast 4 hours or so to "organize blockchain".
Not knowing whether or not my coins were safe in the freshly created paper wallet I made an account on blockchain.info, thinking that I will be able to use that to export from a private key (fucking moron known as myself didn't even know at the time you could do that straight into an armory wallet). So I then exported the $250 I just spent on bitcoins into a fresh wallet on blockchain.info, I then thought I would be able to just send over all the money I just put on there to my wallet on Armory, so I then entered the address and "swept" all the money to there.

This was all done late lastnight so I thought to myself that I would be able to go to sleep and wake up with my Armory being "online" having my freshly bought and transferred money in my wallet.
I thought very very wrong.

I now can't find any of my money at all, but I have a feeling somebody has somehow stolen it. If anyone could please please help me out with this I would be forever greatful, hell I am even willing to pay someone if they can get them back.
Kind of feeling like one of the stupidest people on the internet right now... Can't believe I didn't just.. I don't even know, please someone let me know how I'm too stupid to be thinking that I can do this stuff..
Any help is appreciated..
Cheers

You've given us very little information to help you with.

Lets start with some basics.

#1 - Do NOT give any private keys to anyone that offers to help you.

#2 - What is the address set up in the blockchain.info wallet?

#3 - What was the Armory address that you thought you "swept" the funds to?

#4 - When the ATM gave you a paper wallet, did it only give you a private key or did it also tell you what the address was for that private key?

#5 - If the paper wallet from the ATM had a bitcoin address, what was that address (NOT THE PRIVATE KEY!)

My apologies..

I believe the blockchain.info address I set up was 1P6Bv7FFLR1gcLYHWJdGNrgaW58a8R1LtW

I'm then under the impression that I sent the funds to 1PuBzbjRjURbJEarJw89bZVEt6mkhajzWn

The ATM gave me the paper wallet it gave me the what it says is the Public Key
underneath it there is what is says is the Private key
underneath that it says "Do not lose or share this private key!"
I have never shared any private or public key information with anybody at any point :/

if the Public Key is the same thing as the "bitcoin address" that you are referring to then the address is as follows; 1F216ru1WPd4avWtE9iJ6QbLyFVHf3btYh

Sorry I hope this helps

Ok things look promising for you having access to most of your bitcoins.

It appears that the ATM funded the paper wallet with this transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/467a0c4fca79413958d180214dce79128f6822ae699db2c0ef5994e80520b23c
Where it sent 0.37985839 BTC to 1F216ru1WPd4avWtE9iJ6QbLyFVHf3btYh on 2016-01-14 at 05:41:16 UTC

Then it appears that you transferred the funds to your blockchain.info address with this transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/760836b2293ca60bbc6bf84602cf4595a4bcaa0aedcbf049aac42a265aabedc7
Where you sent 0.37975839 BTC to 1P6Bv7FFLR1gcLYHWJdGNrgaW58a8R1LtW on 2016-01-14 at 12:32:34 UTC and paid a 0.0001 BTC transaction fee.

Then it appears that you transferred the funds to your intended final address with this transaction:
f6ac27ce4e718456da138ccffab0b636c58888c54114745c5855d3b1b62d96a4
Where you:
  • Sent 0.37758717 BTC to 1PuBzbjRjURbJEarJw89bZVEt6mkhajzWn on 2016-01-14 at 12:35:45 UTC
  • Paid another 0.0001 BTC transaction fee
  • Kept 0.00207122 BTC in your blockchain.info wallet at 1P6Bv7FFLR1gcLYHWJdGNrgaW58a8R1LtW

The 0.37758717 BTC that were sent to 1PuBzbjRjURbJEarJw89bZVEt6mkhajzWn are still at that address and have not been spent or stolen by anyone yet.

The 0.00207122 BTC that were left in the blockchain.info wallet at 1P6Bv7FFLR1gcLYHWJdGNrgaW58a8R1LtW are still at that address and have not been spent or stolen by anyone yet.

Therefore:
  • If you still have access to the blockchain.info wallet, then you can still access and send the remaining 0.00207122 BTC
  • If 1PuBzbjRjURbJEarJw89bZVEt6mkhajzWn is an address in your Armory wallet, then you can still access and send the 0.37758717 BTC that were sent to that address

This means that you potentially still have access to 0.37758717 + 0.00207122 = 0.37965839 BTC.

Note that the exchange rate for bitcoins has dropped a bit since you purchased them, so while you may have paid somewhere around $165 for the bitcoins, the remaining 0.37965839 BTC are only currently worth about $157
