Last July, Consumers’ Research, the nation’s oldest consumer organization, gathered 17 digital currency regulators, law enforcement officials, lawyers, financial services staff, and industry representatives at Mount Washington Resort, the Bretton Woods, New Hampshire site of the historic 1944 agreement that established major monetary and foreign-exchange systems. The goal of the 2015 group was to create a comprehensive white paper on Bitcoin and blockchain technology.
