In den letzten Wochen und Monaten hat das russische Softwaregenie, Vitalik Buterin, mit der Entwicklung von Ethereum, einem Blockchain-Projekt, Aufsehen erregt. Aber ist Ethereum überhaupt Konkurrenz für Bitcoin?

Soweit ich ETH verstehe ist es inflationär bzw. kann die Anzahl der coins willkürlich erhöht werden. D.h. als Wert-Asset eher nicht geeignet.

Anwendung soll eher bei Smart Conrtacts liegen, Rootstock wäre ein auf Bitcoin aufbauendes Analogon.
