As some of you may know, I am starting a new YouTube channel focused on crypto investment, with a bent on altcoins. This will be done professionally and on a full time basis. The reason for my post is that I am looking for someone who can help with online marketing, and more importantly, to help put together sponsorships to bootstrap the project.

The position is for 20% equity to start with, as I am bootstrapping this project on my own. This is no pie in the sky however, my most recent project, a trading tool, netted in the six figures over a short period of time, I have experience with scaling and community management. I would love to work with a fellow Bitcoiner.

The core requirement is that you can prove to me you are a decent marketer, but you definitely have to be a consummate salesman. Previous YouTube experience preferred, but not mandatory. This is a part time position but there will be milestones you will be expected to meet.

I already have 7 scripts written and the intro video filmed.

Feel free to drop me a PM.

Pablo.

What your YouTube channel? What kind of your investment? Marketing it need a fund I think, you should put it into advertising site, popular site of course.
Well if you need a graphic design, I can do that.

If you are going to bring in all of the video and work and the only thing your partner will do is marketing + sponsors on youtube , you should not give out %20.

The moment you have a way of making money on youtube + a steady viewership settled, your partner will do nothing but you will have to keep making those videos.

I would suggest if you netted 6 figures on your previous job , pay someone to do this and keep %100 of the income rather then %80.

Well at the start I will be funding everything out of my own pocket so marketing budget will be limited. Still, an organic growth is more desirable to start with and once we have a level of income we can definitely increase our spending.

You make a good point, but there are a couple of things to consider:

1. Although I have a working understanding of marketing and PR (which are different things), I am not a very good marketer or PR person. So i value the skillset, and it is a very specific skillset, because just tweeting won't cut it, I am looking for someone who can do this, and has done this, on a high enough level to get paid for it.

2. I am not only looking for a marketing guy but also for a partner on some level, someone with a complimentary skill-set who also has skin in the game, so I think 20% is a fair offer if I am asking someone to commit to this for a couple years. I believe that people should always be well compensated for their work. Marketing's job is to bring in money so a lot is dependant on them, if possible I would be happy to add a salary on top of the equity down the round to meet these goals.

3. If I made 6 figures on my last project, at least 60% of that was due to the fact I worked with top level product marketers. To pre-empt the next question: I am not doing this with those guys because they are a third party and would not be willing to take this sort of equity deal, and I don't have the budget to hire them for this project; although I think we can do some complimentary work down the road, it certainly would not be for equity.

Please PM me if interested.

Pablo.

I'd like to update the thread with the following:

Intro video and first video already filmed, 12 scripts already done and starting on additional content.

I did sign up with a partner from this thread, but that agreement has since been terminated as the person did not have the required expertise in crypto.

This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of what will surely be a fun and profitable experience. PM me now!

Pablo.

Hi,
I'm starting a small business to exchange Moneygram to BTC/BTC to Moneygram; BTC to PP and BTC to PP on a  one to one basis. I'm based out of Boston and my phone number is in my signature if anyone wants to discuss a transaction or just make sure that everything is on the level.

Rates are 3.5% plus associated service fees for most transactions.

I am also performing sale of Bitcoin to Moneygram for a 7% fee. This fee is associated with the cost and time related to sending a Money Gram payment. I can send this payment world wide, usually same day.

I will provide my personal contact information on request.

I am not a complete noob, I have been exchanging virtual currencies at a retail level since 2006, I ran both tradelindens.com and thelindenstore.com during the hey days of the Linden Dollar so I'm familiar with most scam stories.

Thank you,
   Paul.

Then who's Paul?

Then who's Paul?

Wow, you really went through the archives. Nice job.

I originally started by setting up gaming farms, and when I started working back in 2006, I usually dealt with English speaking people so I used the handle "Paul", which is "Pablo" in English, to help bridge a perceived gap. When I got settled and started doing my own thing, I went back to "Pablo", which is my correct name.

Those two other profiles you linked, have nothing to do with me. Feel free to check through my old threads, happy to answer any questions you may have.

Pablo.

BTW: it's thelindenstore.com, not lindenstore.com; I think that is where your research went a bit off Smiley.
