at least they told you your account has been blocked. I've had the same case (Account hacked) the only thing i've got in reply to my ticket was the sentence "Withdrawal is confirmed by e-mail" along with the access log of the account. i've tried to get more info about the progress or about when they gonna lift the restriction. and i've managed to get the same response "Withdrawal is confirmed by e-mail". this time, without the access log.

Crazy weird dudes. over there.

BTC-E is being run by Russians. Most of them know English, but are not quite comfortable with it. Also, recently there was a spike in their trade volumes and new registrations. I think they are unable to find quality manpower to run all this.

@bryant.coleman: Yeah, I'm aware of that (made me imagin the support guy saying in heavy Russian accent "Withdrawal has been confirmed by e-mail"... Smiley) + the fact that every correspondance with them takes about 3 days (and you can imagine me waiting 3 days to get a single sentence in reply, and another 3 days for the second reply from them)

But it's ok, it's been only a week since the last reply, and I'm patient. at the moment. iv'e been a support guy myself a few years ago, I know how it is.

well after bombarding them with a shed load of freshly submitted tickets i got a response,, "withdrawal confirmed by e-mail" with the access log which contained a btc address  amongst other things,,,i dont suppose theres much i can do now as obviously my system was accessed and email hacked then btc e account emptied,,i guess i will have to put this one down to a schoolboy error in not enabling 2FA on my account which would of given me that extra layer of security.......

wild wild west =[

it most certainly seems that way, another point to mention was the ip address used was from holland and had never been used before to access my account
,surely btc e should have some way of blocking access to an account from an unknown ip address ?  maybe someone else could enlighten me on this one ?

Another thing to watch out for is fake apps, a bitcoinwisdom fake app is doing the rounds at the moment, that are trojans that will try to steal all your logins and wallets.
is this bundled in with something else ?

It's possible, but it has mainly been seen as a standalone.

Well then the tinfoil hat brigade who do everything through anon proxies complain. My IP isn't especially stable on my ISP, and they have multiple ranges even.

Do you have 2FA enabled?
Have you used the same password on other sites?

I have been saying this many times. Don't write to BTC-E in English. They will reply after a few weeks time. Better machine translate your mail to Russian (keep the mail short and simple), and then email them. I normally receive replies within 30-60 minutes, when I email them in Russian, but it takes many days when I use English.

Do you guy's realize how old this post is?  Is anyone reading first page even?

Or even part of second.  I'm surprised how many are talking about such a old/dead thread.

The person who posted today should take it to scam thread and create a site there if they are scamming.  That site and BTC-e are not tied together.
