Hello,

I very seldom use bitcoins and have electrum wallet. Now I wanted to make a transfer BUT it says something changed and I have to have at least Version 2.5.1(I have currently 2.3.2).
Okay, now the real Question, I do know my Password and thus I know what I wrote above.BUT I dont know my Seed right now at least.Im sure I have it somewhere at home but no idea where.
And, unfortunately I dont know if Im gonna need it if I install a newer version on the same directory or not.I googled a bit but didnt find information.
I dont have much on it, but 1btc is 400usd so I dont really wanna lose it unnecassarly either.
So yeah, would be much appreciated to know if you can download and simply install onto same directy without entering the seed and then still not needing it when transfering or if I do.
Because then obv. I have to look and find it first, which would suck.

You should not need the seed, but if you click on the little seed symbol in the lower right corner, enter your password you can write it down to be safe.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.
