Which altcoin should I use?

Hey!

I'm looking for altcoins in which it would be good to invest.
I'm not looking for the moon, I don't want the next incredibly awesome alt, I don't want a 10 days old alt.

I want something stable but a bit different and innovative from btc, so I don't have all my eggs in the same basket.

This is a self moderated thread and I'll report any sig spammers without adequate answers.
