I sent BTC to SD 50%  0.3 BTC and there has been no response positive or negative.

Whats up with that?

Watching the transaction for a bit all the transactions around it seem to have at least one confirmation now, and this one doesn't.

What will happen if it is not confirmed?  Will it be returned to me?

Happens. Just wait.

The funds for this specific wager included as input a transaction that itself had not confirmed.  SatoshiDICE puts itself at risk of a double spend attack by revealing win/loss when a wager includes either spammy transactions or unconfirmed transactions.  So once the wager transaction got a confirmation then that is when SatoshiDICE processed the wager and the payout followed immediately and was confirmed in the following block.

So to avoid this from happening in the future, use a client like Bitcoin-Qt that won't let you spend unconfirmed funds.  If you insist on using Blockchain.info/wallet for this, then there remains the risk of this type of scenario happening.  There's nothing that will speed it up, so just be patient.

Thanks for the explanation.  I see that they did go through shortly.
