I agree with you that when it "resolved" it is not similar to Bitcoin.com. However, when you are using a desktop browser such as Firefox, the URL bar will be http://www.þitcoin.com/.

I dont have a target price. However, for .xyz domain, 0.01 BTC each would be fine.

It seem ridiculous and usually people type the url in the address bar and you can't write ALT+0254 on the address bar. if it can be, it wouldn't be recognized si instead the browser will redirect to google and will correct  what you may mean so it will probably suggest what you mean. says "dyou mean bitcoin.com?"

Yes you can, though it's extremely unlikely that someone would. Hold ALT and press the numbers on the numeric keyboard and you should be able to type that character anywhere. You're right though, you would get very little organic traffic, if any.

Wrong again. I can type in the character and get to the Namecheap holding page just fine. Did you try going to the domain at all, or are you just assuming?

is there a way to "spoof" this or make it appear as the link suggests?

As far as I know there is no way. I am using Mozilla Firefox and it is showing http://www.þitcoin.com/ here. I tested on Google Chrome and you're right - it is showing http://www.xn--itcoin-hza.com/. It depend on the browser your user use. The good thing here is you can use http://www.þitcoin.com/ to link any person to your website.
