Hey guys, tried the faucet, however it's dry, would anyone mind sending me a bitcoin or however much you would mind just to see if it works properly etc. If you could it would be much appreciated, especially seeing as my laptop (HP Compaq NC4200 Business Notebook) is no where near capable of bitcoin mining Sad

Many, MANY Thanks!

You want to test your client? Why do you not use the testnet?
The testnet faucet has 5,022.78 ฿TC available, this should be enough.

I think he wants to try the mainline client with real transaction.
Someone sent 0.01BTC to the address already anyway.

@OT: If you don't see the 0.01BTC, you are probably behind in term of blockchain. (the transactions are stored in blocks broadcasted over the P2P network. Compare the number of blocks you are at in the status bar with the current number of blocks which is 129442 for me).
