I have seen a lot of whole foods, cirque du soleil, ticketmaster, and other GC

Hello,
I am new to this forum and other similar forums.  Please forgive me if this is common knowledge or considered a stupid question.  I have seen a lot of whole foods, cirque du soleil, ticketmaster, Airline and other Gift cards for sale extremely cheap.  Are they purchased with stolen credit cards, or are the websites hacked for these gift cards.

The gift cards are a mixture of stolen credit cards and hacked accounts depending on who is selling

So if I was to buy the ticketmaster GC and put all my info in the checkout then I could be held liable if the GC's are from a hacked account or the GC gotten with stolen credit cards and then sold to me?  I am told by the sellers that the GC do not expire and they have a history of great feedback.
